Paula Patton (born in 1960) is an American actor. She has also produced films, including Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol. As a child living in Los Angeles with a middle-class mother, the actress had plenty of desires. Instilling a passion for film within her daughter was a skill that was a gift from her mother who also loved watching movies. Paula was active with her school's cocurricular activities and particularly awed by the dramatic arts. She loved to play act alongside her peers and was a participant in her school's stage productions. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School's Hamilton Magnet Arts High School was the setting for many school productions. She made the decision to train as an actor. She was in The University of Southern California's summer program, and enjoyed tremendously. She won the PBS 3-month assignment to make documentary films. As soon as she completed her three-month task successfully Her first assignment was to work in production for television documentaries. The next thing she did was begin producing documentaries. While she enjoyed working in the field, she wanted to become an actor. Her first acting gig came by playing a supporting role in Will Smith's romantic comedy Hitch. She has appeared since in many films and TV series.
