Taylor
Taylor Swift has become a unique pop star: a superstar who crossed over completely from the world of country music to pop culture, becoming a pop icon that will be around forever, and will conquer all of the world. Swift shed country like it was another layer of herself, proving that she is perhaps the most intelligent pop singer/songwriter of her time. A person who has the ability to tap into the current zeitgeist and make it personal and also be able to perform at the opposite. Swift's first hits, particularly her neo celebration of Tim McGraw, showed off the talents of her. The album from 2008 Fearless revealed a songwriter who was discovering herself and finding a large audience. Fearless became an enormous success not just in the US where its Top Ten singles Love Story and Belong with Me helped it to record six platinum albums but also around the world. The album was particularly successful across Canada, Australia in Australia and Canada. U.K. Swift's second album Speak Now, released nearly two years following the previous one, built on the success of this album. It helped propel Swift into the spotlight. The next three years, her popularity was growing through the years -three times - Red (2012), Reputation (2014), and 1989 (2014-2015) during which time she entered a new world of pop music in which her talent was already well established. Even though she had slowed her work with folklore and Evermore released in 2020, she was at the forefront of pop music.
